playing the tourists.

Today was girls versus boys, in this family.  The guys experienced their first University of Pitt football game at The Heinz Field {more on that later}, while the gals ventured downtown to hop on a Just Ducky tour boat-car-thing.  Even in the hot, muggy rain amidst a thunderstorm, it was much fun!  And who doesn't absolutely love squishing into an all-terrain vehicle with a group of strangers, especially when one of those strangers is an older woman who laughs her loudest cackle at every one of the tour guides rote jokes?  Best ever, right?  Well, thanks to the hour-long drive/float, we now know a little bit of the history of Pittsburgh and the different downtown areas, which is almost always never useful, but sometimes good to know.

And if you follow me on Instagram, then you probably saw the random photos of authentic Mexican food of which we partook.  It was soooooo delicious, just so you know.  I have had a hard time accepting the loss of too many of my favorite Northwest restaurants and I've been kind of a whiny pain in the pooper about it.  Well, tonight we discovered a replacement for our favorite Mexican place in Spokane!  So, Husband will be so happy that there's one less thing for me to rant about.  Yay!!!

And if you follow me on Cinemagram, then you probably saw the random videos from said restaurant. If you haven't yet got on board with that app, let this be your inspiration...
