Of course, we're home. We've been home for over two months now. But ever since Jackson was a little-tiny guy, he's had a bedtime tradition of hopping into bed, taking off his socks and wadding them up, and tossing each one up to try for a basket in that little hoop pictured above. And in all the time that we've lived in this house thus far, he has not yet made a basket. And he's maintained his stance that he's not really "home" until he actually makes his first basket.
Well, tonight he tossed his first sock through that hoop!
And he stood up and hugged me, shouting "We're home!"
Yes, Jackson. Welcome home!
