we found the cherry blossoms!

So many pictures to share, I'll be posting them for days!  We ventured to D.C. for the weekend to spy the cherry blossoms.  They were supposed to peak today and tomorrow, but I think we are a few days early, so you still have time to see them next weekend if you make the trip!  The trees that were in full bloom were gorgeous and of course, drew a crowd of onlookers and photographers.  I've never seen so many cameras in my life.  There are so many people here in the capitol, it's crazy awesome!  There is just something so amazing about our nation's capitol and history is everywhere.  It's weird to think that people actually live here and go to THE Library of Congress to check out books and fly kites on the Washington Monument lawn.  They get to eat at the outdoor cafe's along Pennsylvania Avenue and hail taxi cabs to the Smithsonian.  And maybe they even sit on the steps leading up to the Abraham Lincoln Memorial and eat lunch while overlooking the reflection pool.

Because that would not suck, I tell you.
