My parents have yet to visit at just the right time to experience Pennsylvania's colorful fall foliage fest. They either visit right before, when the leaves are still bright green or just after, when the brown leaves are covering the ground. This visit provided an opportunity to work out in the yard together, enjoying the warmish weather, and burning some calories while raking up all the leaves littering our lawn.
I am so happy they are here to spend the weekend with us. We are keeping things relaxed and just enjoying our time together. Grandma and McKenna are in the kitchen this morning cooking up french toast and bacon, while the rest of us are enjoying the wonderful aroma. Later we'll head to the mall and then sit down to watch the Seahawks beat the Vikings. Go Seahawks!!!
